Andrew J. Opiola

Andy Opiola’s practice focuses on business planning, business transactions, real estate law, commercial leasing, and employment law.

Mr. Opiola graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology in 2000. He later graduated with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2004 and received the Joseph Bernstein Prize for having submitted the most significant piece of legal writing for publication in The Business Lawyer during 2003-2004. While in school, he joined the Phi Kappa Phi honor society and served on the executive board of The Business Lawyer as Notes and Comments editor.

Mr. Opiola was admitted to practice in Maryland in 2004 and Minnesota in 2007. He started with Blades and Rosenfeld, P.A. as a law clerk and has worked at the firm for his entire career. He was born in Mitchell, South Dakota and grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He currently lives in Catonsville, Maryland.
